Storm Stacker is a race against the clock to
remove all colored cubes from the Storm Arena.
Drive your Storm into colored cubes to stack them
according to the level's instructions.
When a stack is complete the stacked cubes will be removed.
Play all ten levels to complete the Game.

Developer Notes:
Storm Stacker is my first game app, and I am
still learning new things about the game engine (Unity)
and game development. As far as it being my first game,
I think I came up with something unique since most matching
type games are usually 2D and this one is 3D. I know it is kind
of a dead ended game where you play for 10 levels and you are
done and get a Time completed as your score, but I'll be working
on a more interesting ( I hope ) version called Storm Stacker II
that will have "infinite" (well, score size will put some kind of limit on that)
levels and scored based on stacks collected and bonus points for
how fast you complete a level.
version 1.0 10/10/2014:
First version
version 1.2 10/23/2014:
iOS and Android code optimizations.
version 1.2.1 11/3/2014:
fixed Android "Home" button problem. On Android the "Home"
button terminated the program instead of just pausing and leaving program.
This now works as it should when you update to version 1.2.1, so that user
can press "Home" button during game play and resume game later by
tapping the StormStacker icon. There is no issue with the iOS Apple
build of program regarding "Home" button.
On January 24th Google Play Developer Console recorded a Crash Report on a Nexus 7 running Android version 5.0 Lollypop. It appears that some older Unity Game Engine versions can have a problem running Lollypop. I'll be making an update soon to a newer Unity version along with the update for Google Play Game Services and Apple Game Center, and hopefully "Lick" the Lollypop problem.
version 1.3 2/20/2015:
Android version was updated to use Google Play Services.
3/3/2015:
iOS updated to have both Google Play Services and Game Center.
Updated Unity Game Engine to version 4.5.5
version 1.3.1 2/26/2015:
Android version was updated to fix a bug that allowed the banner ad to popup
during game play if user pressed "Play" before the banner ad popped up on Menu Screen.
iOS version will be available TBD for V1.4.
version 1.4 3/5/2015:
Android version was updated to use Unity Game Engine version 4.6.3
iOS version updated on 4/1/2015
March 2015 began work on Storm Stacker II
Android version 1.5 5/14/2015:
Updated to use Unity Game Engine version 4.6.4
Added a new sound file and a "Stop" button to go along with the "Play" button
on the Level introduction screen
Android version 1.6 6/17/2015:
Updated to use Unity Game Engine version 4.6.5
Minor update to the introduction text
Updated to use Google Play Games plugin version: 0.9.20
iOS version 1.5 7/1/2015:
updated to use Unity Game Engine version 4.6.6p3
Minor update to the introduction text
Added a new sound file and a "Stop" button to go along with the "Play" button
on the Level introduction screen
Updated to use Google Play Games plugin version: 0.9.20
Android version 1.7 7/8/2015:
Updated to use Unity Game Engine version 4.6.6p3
Updated the UI to include a "More" button and within "More"
a "Free Games" button that displays the AppBrain Offer Wall.
Android version 1.7.1 1/15/2016:
Bug Fix: Chance for Player to be pushed off arena by an Ice Shard.
Italian "How To Play" instruction fix for "Ball Lightning"; it had the same
description as "Rainbow". 3/4/2016 I noticed I forgot I had to change the
the name from "Rainbow" to "Ball Lightning", both places it is written:
Arcobaleno. I guess that change will be in the next version...
Android version 1.8 3/23/2016:
When trying to update iOS version of the game I needed to install new iOS on
my devices which in turn caused problems in my last version of Unity, so I updated
Unity and built this version for Android. iOS version almost complete with testing after
major version updates to Xcode and Mac OS X .
Update to use Unity 5.3.3p1
Update to use Google Play Services 0.9.32
Update to use Google Mobile Ads 3.0.2
iOS version 1.6 4/20/2016:
Same as Android versions 1.7.1 and 1.8
Continuing work on Storm Stacker 2
Been a long time since I typed in here.
I guess I can't quit my day job, and I'm not
retired yet... It's November 21, 2019 and I
decided to update Storm Stacker to a newer
version of Unity 2018 and freshen it up a bit.
After I get things in order I'll move changes
into Storm Stacker 2 and eventually publish it.
Android version 2.1.0 7/29/2020:
Wow, has it been four years since my last version update???!!!
I needed to make my app 64 bit compliant by August 1, 2020....
Made some UI changes and a couple in game graphic additions,
including some instruction at the beginning of the first level.
Update to use Unity 2018.4.24f1
Update to use Google Play Services 0.9.64
Update to use Google Mobile Ads 5.2.0
Update to use AppBrain v16
iOS version 2.1.0 11/08/2020:
Same as Android
Android version 2.1.1 11/12/2020:
Fix Google Play login button to say "Logout"
after user logs in. ( was fixed in iOS version 2.1.0 )
Android version 2.1.2 11/13/2020:
Built with UnityAds v3.4.9 (used on iOS version)
but this causes a crash on Android when exiting
the game, rebuilt with UnityAds v3.2.0
Android version 2.1.3 10/5/2023:
Update Unity Ads to 4.2.1 for Play Store compliance.
And continuing work on Storm Stacker 2
Below is a video of StormStacker 1
